Christmas Break

We had so much fun in Utah for Christmas break! It was so nice to be around family and just relax!

We flew into Salt Lake and landed super late at night.  Mason’s family was so sweet to stay up and wait for us though! Pretty sure we stayed up until about 2 am that night.

The next day we drove to Eagle Mtn.  to visit for a few hours…and get our hair done!

002

Aunt Becky gave Audrey her first real haircut.

004

She was really good! (It might have had something to do with the mouth full of candy)

006

Hudsie got a haircut too! Check out the sweet steps! They have already grown in! His hair grows super fast.

After we got our hair done, we headed down to St. George for Christmas

008

Audrey loved having girls to play with! Brooklyn, Audrey, Abbey, and Megan.

009

I loved having girls to play with too! This is a horrible picture of me…but check out my mom!

013

Audrey and Megan had the best time together!

015

We had fun checking out the lights and nativity at the temple.

018

Audrey and Hudsie in their new jam jams Christmas morning.

019

Poor Hudsie has to endure a lot of Audrey’s “hugs”.

016

Audrey’s loot.  She had been asking for that Cinderella doll for a long time.  I was so excited for her to see it!

017

Hudsie’s loot.  Honestly, half of that stuff didn’t make it back to Memphis. Dang.

020

She loves it! Yay!

021

Hudsie checking it all out.

Since Kristi and Garrett were moving to Germany the next day, we took a ton of pics the day after Christmas.

Hudsie was totally cheesin’ it!

The day after Christmas we went to Huntington to see Mason’s family.  Of course I forgot to take my camera out most of the time!

031

Audrey and Ry got to be good buds! They loved sitting together and playing with grandma’s kindle!

034

Mason took Audrey to the Player’s house to see the horses and other animals.  Audrey was in heaven! (Surprise Players! Pretty sure they didn’t do any damage!)

035

Hudsie fell asleep one night hugging his doggy.  Mason’s sister Angie MADE it for him! He totally loves it, by the way!

036

Audrey was Grandma Livingston’s shadow the whole time we were there!

Over the break, Hudson decided he would like to be mobile.  He still isn’t crawling…forward.  He will crawl backwards until he gets stuck under the couch…like in the picture below!

We gave Hudsie a bath in the kitchen sink right before we left for Utah.  He thought it was hilarious!

We are so blessed to have our families! We are so lucky to have families that we love to hang out with and miss like crazy!

Can’t wait to see most of you in March! Yay!

Auddie’s 3rd Birthday

This year was the first time we were home, just us, for Audrey’s birthday. We decided to have a day all about Audrey and do whatever she wanted to do the whole day instead of throwing a party. I am so glad we did! It ended up being such a fun day!

When Audrey woke up we had a huge surprise waiting for her…a bike! She had been asking for one for a long time and she was so excited!

After opening presents, Audrey decided that she wanted to ride her bike. We went to Shelby Farms and braved the cold…well Mason and Audrey did…me and Hudson went back to the car after about 10 minutes.

This is the closest I got to Audrey smiling at the camera. She was way too busy riding her bike to look at me!

170

After Shelby Farms we went to lunch at Cracker Barrel and Audrey got a free toy from a Veterans Affairs Rep.

Then we came home for birthday cake!

172

Audrey requested a Cinderella cake with blue flowers…so…grocery store cake it was!

174

177

Audrey loved her cake and blowing out candles!

Later that day, we ended up having to take Audrey to the doctor for a possible UTI.  Poor girl! Turns out she was just super dehydrated from riding her bike all day without taking any breaks!

We sure do love our Auddie. She is such a light and blessing in our lives.  She keeps us on our toes for sure, but our life would not be the same without her singing, dancing, and “guess what? chicken butt!”

And now some pics from birthdays past…which never got posted…whoops!
