Thanksgiving…etc

We are so lucky to have such great friends out here! It makes it a lot easier to be away from home on Thanksgiving! We hosted this year and had the Watts, Jackmans and Zollingers over. We had some awesome food and had a great time chatting.

Before everyone came over, Audrey served her own dinner with acorns from the front yard. It actually occupied her really well for a good hour or so.

 

Don’t worry, we washed the dishes before we ate!

The kids were (lucky?) enough to eat outside! I especially loved our two Cinderellas. Kids are, Katelyn Watt, Audrey, Jaxon Zollinger, Jaxon Watt, Hayden Jackman, Logan Zollinger and Jett Watt

Mason HATES this picture! I think its hilarious…mostly because Audrey dressed him up all by herself!

 

Audrey and I made cinnamon-smelling cut out ornaments. She was so excited the whole time.

He’s getting really close to crawling. He scoots backwards and in circles. He also just cut his bottom 2 teeth. I am sooo not ready for him to be crawling!

 

I was taking pictures of Audrey while she was jumping like a frog and just happened to get this one. 

 

Audrey took this picture of Hudson on the ipod and then found this cute frame for it!

Audrey also took this one on the ipod.  Someone might be getting a “cramma” aka camera for Christmas.

I sat and watched Audrey open the fridge, reach the milk, bring it into the front room, and sit down to drink it. I would usually stop her from doing this, but I wanted to see what she would do if she actually got away with it.  Apparently she just really wanted a drink of milk!

Today I watched Audrey move the garbage can and high chair, move a chair from the table next to the fridge, and then stand on the chair to get her game off the top of the fridge.  That girl is getting so smart! I love to watch her learn to figure things out on her own…hopefully she starts to learn how to do thing in a less dangerous way!

Hudson, 6 Months

Holy Cow! How is it possible that Hudson is already 6 months old? It breaks my heart a little!  He is still a tiny infant in my mind! What’s worse is that most of our family hasn’t met him yet.

Seriously! Are you kidding me! What a stinkin’ cute little boy!

At six months he is:

*sitting up

*rolling from his back to his belly

*eating crackers and sitting in the high chair

*nowhere near sleeping through the night…it’s killing me!

*super clingy to his mama. (seriously, the other day I was folding laundry and he would cry when whatever I was folding covered my face!)

No way Audrey could stay out of the pictures!

Tee hee!

 

We can’t wait to go home for the holidays so Hudson can meet all of his family!

Crowns!

Since Audrey is obsessed with princesses, she is also obsessed with crowns! I cut out some crowns for her to color for herself and Hudson.  She was in heaven the whole time! Now, she asks just about everyday to make some more.

She kept decorating even after Hudson had the crown on his head!

Halloween!!! TONS of Pictures!

We had so much fun this year! Audrey has been obsessed with Halloween for the past two months, so we couldn’t wait for it to finally be here! Audrey wanted to be Cinderella for Halloween…just ask anyone that she saw at church, the gym,the grocery store…basically anywhere we went!

We started celebrating on the Friday before Halloween.  We found a pattern for a Cinderella pumpkin and you can bet that Audrey made sure that happened!

Audrey loved helping and didn’t get grossed out by the pumpkin innards at all!

Once the carving began, Audrey was happy to just color on the baby pumpkins with a sharpie!

Friday night was our ward Trunk or Treat.  Audrey was SO excited to FINALLY be able to wear her costume(thanks Tootie…or if you’re Audrey, thanks Turtie!).

Audrey and Spencer.  Can you even believe how cute these two are? He was seriously dressed up at Prince Charming! The nursery leader has told me that these two are inseparable during nursery.  How fitting!

 

Seriously! Hudson just might have to be Prince Charming next year! It’s so stinking cute!

This is how I found Hudson when I got home from cleaning up the Trunk or Treat. He had cried himself to sleep and pulled the bumper over his body.  He does this every time he cries himself to sleep.  Might be time to remove it!

On Halloween day we went to Mason’s school.  They decorate all of the suites in the clinic and let the kids come to get treats.

All the starts aligned and Cinderella was at Mason’s school.  I so wish I cold have captured the look on Audrey’s face when she saw her! It was so precious!

They compared dresses and shoes…

Cinderella taught her how to hold her hands like a princess…

and gave her a glitter star on her face!

We had planned on going trick or treating after dinner with Audrey’s friend in the ward, but Hudson fell asleep really early and Audrey brought me her pajamas at like 6:30 and said she was sooo tired! I think all of the excitement of meeting Cinderella was too much for her!

Hudson loves the Johnny Jump Up! And just look at those chunky thighs!

Pretty Girl

A couple of weeks ago we were playing outside and I happened to have the camera. Audrey laid down on the grass, put her head on some flowers..aka..weeds and told me that I needed to take her picture.  I think they turned out pretty dang cute!

This one is my favorite.  She’s got a pretty goofy smile goin’ on, but it’s so sweet!

Yep…he’s already in this…and this was almost a month ago.

Hudson may or may not have slipped out of the swing…whoops. He was still happy though. The good mom points keep adding up as I took of picture of this…with the swing banging him in the belly… before picking him up.

Audrey’s potty training bribing booty. Each time Audrey had an accident we took away one of her toys... that she earned for going potty. Needless to say, it was a rough couple of days.

And last, but not least, this is the snake that Mason found in the back yard.  Yes, it’s small…but it’s still a SNAKE!!!
