Family Pictures

My sister in law, Tara was nice enough to take some family pictures for us!

Audrey Loves Dance and Halloween

I have been anxiously awaiting the time that Audrey would be old enough to take dance lessons.  I finally signed Audrey up through our local rec center and she could not be happier! Thank goodness! Audrey is so good in class.  She is usually one of only two or three girls that are paying attention to  what the teacher is saying and is actually a pretty good little dancer!

I really hope Audrey continues to love dance class.  Dance was such an important part of my life and it makes me so happy to see her loving it too!

I can’t get enough of Audrey in her little dance outfit.  She usually ends up staying in it all day long.

The weekend before Halloween, my parents neighborhood put on a little carnival.  Audrey and I, along with Robyn and Megan drove down for it.  Audrey was in total heaven.  There aren’t a lot of things she likes more than celebrating Halloween.

These cute girls had such a good time!

Audrey won these vampire teeth at one of the booths. I love this picture because it perfectly captures Audrey’s personality.  Totally a princess and totally quirky!

My absolute favorite picture from Halloween!

On Halloween night, we had mummy dogs with Robyn and the kids and then went trick or treating with the Livingston cousins.  Well, Mason took the kids trick or treating and I stayed at Becky’s and ate soup.  I think I won.  Hudson lasted about 5 houses before he was done, but Audrey loved every minute of trick or treating! She could have gone all night if we’d have let her.

Audrey felt so beautiful in her Snow White costume!

So glad these two are getting along so well! Cousin Leif dressed as Fin the Human.

We dressed Hudson up as a bum.  It was totally cute, and totally free!

I can’t get enough of this little guy! What a cutie!

September and October

When we thought of moving back to Utah, we thought we would be going to either St. George or Huntington just about every weekend.  It turns out that we were way to busy!

002

003

Our good friends, the Jackman’s invited us to spend that night at their cabin.  It was so much fun! We had a blast chatting by the fire and the kids loved being in the mountains.

007

I was able to meet up with my college roomates.  It was so good to reminisce and catch up!

008

We went with Mason’s family to the alpine slides in Park City.  We had so much fun, but I almost had a heart attack on the ski lift ride up to the top of the mountain!

011

Audrey got to ride a horse at Thanksgiving point.  It was so fun to meet up with my friends and their kids.  They all played so well together.  It made me really happy.

014

I can’t believe that just 3 of us have this many kids!

019

I missed the last few sleepovers with my fun friends from high school.  I was so happy to finally be able to go again.  We always have so much fun and get along like we see each other everyday.  We stayed up till 3 am just chatting.  I am so happy to have such fun girls in my life!

First Few Weeks in Utah

The long trip across the country went a lot better than I was expecting.  The kids were really good, except for a few rounds of throw up!

The first weekend we were back I was able to go to my friend, Caroline’s wedding.  I was so happy that I wouldn’t have to miss any more weddings! It was so nice to catch up with my friends!

About a week after arriving in Utah, Audrey and I went to Disneyland with my family.  It was a blast!  We really missed Mason and Hudson, but Mason couldn’t miss his first week of externships and I didn’t think Hudson would have very much fun in the heat!

Our Last Days in Tennessee

Ok…more like our last month in Tennessee.

158

Never thought I’d have to worry about Hudson getting in my makeup! I’m pretty sure he had some help from his older sister.

163

We found Audrey like this one night.  She called the umbrella her “wedding”.  She had seen some like it in mine and Mason’s wedding pictures.

170

We ABSOLUTELY loved having Gracie, Ean and Grandma in town for a week.  And, yes this is one of the 2 pictures that we took while they were here.  We had a blast making shirts and candy and going to the mall!

171

174

We spent lots of time in the back yard playing in the water!

We were so blessed to have such good friends while we were in Tennessee. One of our favorite things was our dinner group that we had with some of the other students.  The next pictures were taken at the last one we were able to go to.

All the wives.  We had such good time together!

Kate Winters, Monica Jackman, Laura Zollinger, Larysa Border, Me, Luna Fischer, Alisha Jenkins, and Ashley Watt

This past spring and summer Audrey was part of a playschool group.  We did it with some other kids in our ward.  Audrey had so much fun every week.

Malik Perkins, Audrey, Derek Simmons and Spencer

I loved getting to spend time with other moms too!

Me, Katrina Perkins and Andrea Simmons.  So sad that I didn’t get any pictures with Linsday Wilkins and her cute boys Preston and Skyler.

The last Wednesday we were in town the cute Young Women in our ward came and helped clean our house.  I was glad to be able to see the girls one last time. I loved my calling in Young Womens so much and I am going to miss the girls and the other leaders.  I really hope I can keep up with them through facebook.  I have a feeling the a lot of the girls will also got to BYU so maybe I can see some of them out here!

199

The girls who came that night. They are all such good girls.

When I thought about leaving the house for the last time I would get really emotional.  But, I think I must have gotten all of my emotions out before hand cause when the time came, I was just ready to get on the road and get the long drive over with!

One last picture in the front room.  Please excuse how gross we look.  It was 5:30 in the morning!

We will never forget our time in Memphis.  It was and will be one of the most defining moments of our life.  We learned so much about who we are as a family and as individuals.  We made so many good friends, many that we may not see ever again and that makes up so very sad.  We were lucky to be part of a ward that loved us instantly and helped us more than we can ever express.  We grew to love the South with all of it’s quirks and will really miss it.  We had quite the adventure with our house and all the interesting things that come with remodeling but we learned so much and gained the confidence to be able to do it again.

We left part of our hearts in  Memphis.
