Christmas 2012

We had Christmas in Huntington with Mason’s family this year.  It was so nice to not have to get on a plane and pack for 2 weeks.  We are so happy to be home!

We had a grand total of 26 people  for Christmas.  It was pretty crazy!

I had to take advantage of having all 14 grandkids in the same place…I tried to take some pictures.  See for yourself how well they turned out!

It snowed a lot while we were in Huntington.  The kids had a blast getting pulled in the canoe!

Tara and I made all of the pajama pants for Christmas…that’s 26 pairs.  We were so relieved to see that they all fit who they were made for!

That night they also performed a nativity.  Audrey  got to be Mary and had a blast.

Audrey’s Birthday and others

Audrey has been looking forward to her birthday for pretty much a whole year now.  She was so excited when she woke up in the morning to ding Papa Elf with blue balloons for her birthday!

Audrey surprised us the week before her birthday with requests for Lala Loopsy dolls.  She had never said anything about them before so I had to make a last minute trip to Toy’s r us in the snow to make her birthday wishes come true.

Audrey wanted to wear her birthday crown all day and loved the sleeping beauty dress up that “Hudson” got her.

Her birthday loot.  That’s a lot of Lala Loopsy’s!

Audrey requested blue cupcakes with princeses.  She was happy to supply the princesses herself!

December 2012 Part 1

December was a crazy busy month!

The fist thing of the month was Audrey’s dance recital.  Audrey was so excited to get up on the big stage and dance.  She was not nervous at all and had a blast!  Her dance was “You Spin Me” by Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Audrey’s cousin Megan was so sweet to come to the recital.  Audrey was so excited to see her there.  They are such good buds.

December was so much colder than we were used to, coming from Memphis.  The kids have had to be creative with coming up with things to do inside.

One day I walked downstairs and found Audrey and Leif in these getups.  They said they were playing mommies and daddies and that they were taking their babies to the doctor.  I’m so glad that these two are getting along so well.

Hudson did not have a good December.  He was constantly sick with something.   I took this picture of Huds on Audrey’s birthday.  This was as happy as he could get.  Turns out he had pneumonia.  The poor thing was so miserable!

You can tell that he’s trying to say “cheese”.

Poor thing.

Family Pictures

My sister in law, Tara was nice enough to take some family pictures for us!

Audrey Loves Dance and Halloween

I have been anxiously awaiting the time that Audrey would be old enough to take dance lessons.  I finally signed Audrey up through our local rec center and she could not be happier! Thank goodness! Audrey is so good in class.  She is usually one of only two or three girls that are paying attention to  what the teacher is saying and is actually a pretty good little dancer!

I really hope Audrey continues to love dance class.  Dance was such an important part of my life and it makes me so happy to see her loving it too!

I can’t get enough of Audrey in her little dance outfit.  She usually ends up staying in it all day long.

The weekend before Halloween, my parents neighborhood put on a little carnival.  Audrey and I, along with Robyn and Megan drove down for it.  Audrey was in total heaven.  There aren’t a lot of things she likes more than celebrating Halloween.

These cute girls had such a good time!

Audrey won these vampire teeth at one of the booths. I love this picture because it perfectly captures Audrey’s personality.  Totally a princess and totally quirky!

028

My absolute favorite picture from Halloween!

On Halloween night, we had mummy dogs with Robyn and the kids and then went trick or treating with the Livingston cousins.  Well, Mason took the kids trick or treating and I stayed at Becky’s and ate soup.  I think I won.  Hudson lasted about 5 houses before he was done, but Audrey loved every minute of trick or treating! She could have gone all night if we’d have let her.

Audrey felt so beautiful in her Snow White costume!

So glad these two are getting along so well! Cousin Leif dressed as Fin the Human.

We dressed Hudson up as a bum.  It was totally cute, and totally free!

I can’t get enough of this little guy! What a cutie!
