I was tagged!

This unfortunate picture was taken on Audrey’s blessing day. Don’t we all look lovely? Plus, Audrey looks like she’s about to fall out of Mason’s arms, and I look like I haven’t slept in six weeks. (Probably cause I hadn’t).

Audrey and Mason play this game where Mason goes around the corner and comes back out and scares Audrey.  Audrey seriously gets scared EVERY time.  First is the look of terror and then she laughs.  What a funny girl.

The look of terror turning into a laugh.  Also, don’t mind that she looks like an orphan.  We ran out of clean jam jams right after DC and put her in a huge t shirt.

Scaredy, scaredy.  Apparently she really loved that apply fritter too.

Washington DC

Mason and I went with Mason’s parent to DC over Mason’s spring break.  Mason’s sister Angie and niece Grace met us there! We had a blast!  Way too much to see in just a couple of days!

Our House…a work in progress!

The Front Room. We painted the walls, the molding, and replaced the carpet.

The spare bedroom.  No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you…Ariel and the care bear are actually there.  This is our next project.

Audrey’s room.  We painted.  The walls were the most horrible flat red color…yuck.  We’ll eventually get around to painting the molding in here too.  Very bare…I’m VERY open to decorating ideas in here!!!  And no, the tv’s not staying!

Upstairs bathroom…we haven’t done a dang thing.

Master bathroom.  We painted.  I think we’ll eventually replace the countertop as well.

Master bedroom.  We painted the walls, the molding and replaced the carpet.  We also spent two hours cleaning up an entire gallon of paint that fell off the dresser and popped open onto the gorgeous new carpet.  No worries…we got it out.

 

So there it is.  I put a picture of our kitchen in an earlier post.  The house is still a work in progress.  It’s difficult to find time with Mason studying all the freaking  time, but it will happen.

I am SO VERY open to decorating help and ideas! Let me hear it!!!

Making Cookies!

We got bored tonight and decided to make some cookies! It was the first time that Audrey got to help and she was sooooo excited.  She just laughed the whole time.

With Mommy…check out her hair! We had just taken out the hair tie.

She absolutely loved to help put in the ingredients.

Snow Day!!! and other happenings

 

Audrey with her baby doll…she loves this thing! She carries it around and puts the bottle in the baby’s mouth…so cute!

Sooo… we were under the impression that it never snows in Memphis. Well, so far this winter Mason has had five days off school because of snow or ice storms…Audrey and I love it! This is Audrey getting ready to go play in the snow.

We woke up this morning to 5 inches of snow! This is the huge snow man that we made!

This is Audrey’s favorite spot.  This little tiny corner that she barely fits in.  She spends a lot of time there, just putting things on the fireplace and taking them back off.
